Estudantes do curso de História, do Centro de Estudos Superiores de Tefé da Universidade Estado do Amazonas (Cest/UEA), estão popularizando conteúdos relacionados à área, de forma dinâmica para a comunidade, por meio do podcast “Trilhas da História”. O projeto, que une extensão universitária, pesquisa e linguagem digital, busca contribuir para o acesso ao conhecimento histórico, alcançado a comunidade acadêmica, população de Tefé e municípios vizinhos.
Sob a coordenação do Prof. Dr. Daniel Lima e do Prof. Dr. Luciano Teles, o podcast aborda temas como: “A liberdade na província do Amazonas”; “O trabalho da Amazônia: entre a liberdade e a escravidão”; a “Geografia e a leitura do mundo”; “Arte e Ciência: produzindo conhecimento na Amazônia”; entre outros.
Segundo o professor Daniel Lima, o podcast, fruto do projeto de extensão do curso de História da UEA, em Tefé, surgiu com o objetivo de criar um canal acessível de divulgação do saber histórico, diante do cenário atual de desinformação nas redes. Além de ser uma oportunidade de se comunicar com o público fora dos muros da universidade.
“Tem sido uma forma de aproximar a universidade da sociedade. Muitas vezes, o conhecimento acadêmico não chega a quem mais precisa. O podcast “Trilhas da História” permite contribuir com o bem comum e, ao mesmo tempo, aprender com as trocas que ele gera”, destacou.
O projeto-piloto do podcast surgiu na Rádio Web Xibé, sediada no Cest/UEA. A ação vem alcançado ouvintes em plataformas digitais, entre as quais YouTube e Spotify, em diversos municípios do interior do Amazonas como: Fonte Boa, Santo Antônio do Içá, Japurá, Uarini, Coari, Tabatinga, São Gabriel da Cachoeira, Parintins e Manaus.
Os episódios também estão sendo acessados em: Belém, Macapá, Brasília, São Paulo, Nova Iorque, Berlim e Paris.

A segunda temporada do podcast está marcada para o dia 14 de agosto de 2025. Os episódios têm a participação de pesquisadores da área de história e áreas relacionadas, com debates sobre temas atuais e históricos.
A iniciativa visa, ainda, promover uma escuta crítica, plural e comprometida com o saber científico e com as múltiplas dimensões da Amazônia.
