A Universidade do Estado do Amazonas (UEA), por meio do Laboratório de Pesquisa e Práticas de Ensino Musical (Lapem), iniciou, nesta segunda-feira (29/9), os ensaios do Projeto Banda de Música 60+, na Escola Superior de Artes e Turismo (Esat). A ação, pioneira no Brasil, oferece aulas gratuitas de música para pessoas da terceira idade no Amazonas.
Com mais de 40 participantes, as aulas ocorrem duas vezes na semana e não exigem experiência musical prévia, combinando formação teórica e prática musical, com o objetivo de promover bem-estar, inclusão e socialização para pessoas com mais de 60 anos.
A iniciativa visa realizar o sonho de quem sempre desejou aprender a tocar um instrumento musical. “A música não tem idade. Ela conecta, emociona e dá novo significado à vida dos alunos”, destaca o coordenador do projeto, Prof. Dr. Fabio Carmo.
Além do impacto social, a ação também funciona como campo de estágio e capacitação para estudantes de música da UEA, que atuam como monitores sob a orientação de professores qualificados. Durante as aulas, os participantes têm a oportunidade de aprender a tocar instrumentos como flauta, clarinete, saxofone, trompete, trombone, tuba e percussão.
