Música, projetos, programas, laboratórios, pesquisas e relatos da Universidade do Estado do Amazonas (UEA) alusivos a preservação e conservação do Meio Ambiente estarão presentes no stand da universidade na Eco Amazônia. O evento, que ocorrerá entre os dias 5 e 7 de junho, é uma iniciativa do Governo do Amazonas, por meio da Secretaria de Estado do Meio Ambiente (Sema), e reunirá mais de 30 instituições dos setores público, privado, acadêmico e da sociedade civil para uma programação especial em celebração ao Dia Mundial do Meio Ambiente.
A universidade promoverá, durante os três dias de evento, oficinas, workshops interativos, painéis de debate com especialistas, palestras e exposições educativas. Os interessados podem se inscrever nas oficinas de forma on-line por meio do link: https://bit.ly/EcoAmazonia. As atividades possuem vagas limitadas e contam com certificação.
O reitor da UEA, Prof. Dr. André Zogahib, destaca que a universidade integrará em seu stand: a pesquisa, o ensino e a extensão nos campos do meio ambiente, da sustentabilidade, da preservação e da inovação.
“Essa é mais uma oportunidade da sociedade conhecer o que a universidade produz em relação a preservação e conservação do nosso maior patrimônio: que é a Amazônia. Essa interação da sociedade no stand da universidade enriquecerá o ambiente acadêmico e fomentará a disseminação do conhecimento. Então, convido a todos vocês para visitarem o stand da UEA na Eco Amazônia durante os dias 5, 6 e 7 de junho no Manaus Plaza. Agradeço e parabenizo também o secretário Eduardo Taveira pela iniciativa”.
Sobre a Eco Amazônia
O evento vai ocorrer nos dias 5, 6 e 7 de junho, das 10h às 20h, no Centro de Convenções do Manaus Plaza Shopping, situado na Av. Djalma Batista, nº 2.100, Zona Centro-Sul de Manaus. A entrada é gratuita e aberta ao público.
A realização da Eco Amazônia é possibilitada pelo Governo do Amazonas, por meio da Sema, com apoio do Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas (Sebrae) e do Programa Floresta em Pé, fruto de cooperação financeira entre os governos da Alemanha e do Brasil, por meio do KfW Banco de Desenvolvimento, e implementado pela Fundação Amazônia Sustentável (FAZ).
